What we love
- 35,000 Pa Vormax suction — the highest figure in any robot vacuum we rank
- At 3.13 in tall it clears low sofas and beds that stop nearly every rival flagship
- Climbs thresholds up to 3.47 in, a full inch more than the X50 Ultra manages
- 104°F hot-water mopping at 230 RPM and 15N downforce, with 212°F self-cleaning between runs
- Dual 120° AI cameras identify 280+ object types down to 10mm, aided by a light for dark rooms
- Base station runs 100 days between bag changes and refills water and cleaning solution itself
What could be better
- At $1,500 it costs roughly 50% more than the X50 Ultra, which handles most homes just as well
- No local or Home Assistant control
- Large base station needs real floor space and wall clearance
- Slimmer chassis means a smaller onboard water tank than the taller Aqua10 Ultra
The X60 Ultra is the most capable robot vacuum Dreame has released, and the specification sheet is not subtle about it: 35,000 Pa of suction, a 3.13-inch body that slides under furniture rivals cannot reach, and legs that climb 3.47-inch thresholds. Hot-water mopping and 212°F pad washing close the last real gap in Dreame's mopping story. The catch is price — at around $1,500 it asks a 50% premium over the X50 Ultra, and for most homes that older flagship still does the job. Buy the X60 Ultra if you have low furniture, high thresholds, or split levels that defeat ordinary robots.
Cleaning Performance
At 35,000 Pa the X60 Ultra carries the highest rated suction of any robot in this ranking, comfortably ahead of the 30,000 Pa Aqua10 Ultra and nearly double the X50 Ultra. Rated pressure is only part of the story, but paired with the HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0 and its counter-rotating design and thicker rubber strips, the hardware is aimed squarely at the two things that defeat cheaper robots: embedded carpet grit and long hair wrapping the brush.
The 3.13-Inch Body
The headline engineering achievement is height. At 3.13 in (79.5 mm) the X60 Ultra is among the slimmest flagships available, and the LDS turret retracts so the robot can keep navigating while it is under a sofa or bed. Most flagship robots sit around 3.5 to 4 inches and simply cannot enter those spaces, leaving a permanent band of uncleaned floor. If low furniture is why your current robot misses areas, this is the specification that matters most.
Mopping & Base Station
Dual spinning pads run at up to 230 RPM with 15N of downforce, fed with water heated to 104°F, and an extending arm reaches baseboards and corners. Between runs the base station washes the pads at 212°F and hot-air dries them, which is what stops pads from souring. The station also refills clean water and mixes cleaning solution automatically, and holds 100 days of debris in its sealed bag.
Battery & Autonomy
The 6,400 mAh battery is rated for around 180 minutes of cleaning and recharges in roughly 80 minutes, which is unusually fast for a pack this size and means a mid-clean top-up costs little time. Coverage lands near 2,500 sq ft in a single session. Charge protection lets you cap the battery between 80% and 100%, and off-peak charging scheduling is available in the app.
App & Smart Home
The Dreamehome app covers multi-floor maps, no-go zones, and room-level suction and water settings, and this generation adds Apple Watch control alongside Alexa, Google Home, and Siri, plus an "OK, Dreame" wake phrase on the robot itself. As with every Dreame, there is still no local API or Home Assistant integration, so smart-home tinkerers remain dependent on the cloud.
